Strategic Planning

Designing a strategic plan means you’ve considered infinite options, have narrowed your focus to your highest values and priorities, and feel confident that you have the resources needed to achieve some level of impact.

A central train station offers a helpful metaphor.  If you don’t know where you want to go, leaving the station feels like the correct first step, but each set of tracks will take you to a different place.  If your objective is broad, say, you’re trying to get out of town, you can probably take any train.  To the extent your focus is more narrow and your objective well-defined, whether you are a grantmaker or grant seeker, your ultimate destination must be clearly in mind before you buy a ticket and board.

Keselman Consulting has been involved in giving and getting grants for many years.  We can help you define and focus your philanthropic goals and assure that you are on the right track to achieve your objectives.
